Our creative journey together began while studying Butoh, Japanese avant-garde contemporary dance theater, at the Subbody Resonance Butoh School in the Himalayas and later at La Maison Blanc in Normandy, France.  From this first encounter, our process has weaved and integrated various artistic disciplines from each of our backgrounds; including video installation, mask making, and poetry.  In 2018 we formed the Arteria Butoh Dance Theater Company as a platform to share and deepen what can be discovered of the human condition in relation to all living things, seen and unseen, through live performance, community art pieces, image installation, and dance film.
